In preparation for the Easter holiday weekend, the Tennessee Department of Transportation has announced the suspension of all interstate construction work. Beginning this Thursday at 6pm and through Monday, April 1 at 6am, TDOT crews and contractors will halt road construction activities that require lane closures. While some long-term lane closures will remain in place, motorists are urged to adhere to posted speed limits and exercise caution, especially in work zones.
