The Greene County Civil Service Board and Sheriff’s Department will conduct a civil service examination for the position of Deputy Sheriff-Corrections Officer on May 23rd at the courthouse. Applicants must be 18 or older, a U.S. citizen, and meet educational and background criteria. Starting pay is $18.39 per hour.
