Former School Official Pleads Guilty

Former Greene County School Board member Tommy Cobble has pleaded guilty to official misconduct charges in Greene County Criminal Court. Cobble, who resigned from his position citing health reasons, admitted to using his position to engage in conduct harmful to others and making offensive remarks, including towards foreign exchange students. By pleading guilty, Cobble avoided harsher charges. He was ordered by the judge to serve one year of probation, with no fine or restitution ordered, and a restraining order prohibits contact with the victims.
