Teen Murder Suspect Likely To Be Tried As Adult

The Greene County District Attorney says he plans to seek to try a 16-year-old accused of murdering a 7-year-old and an older woman, as an adult. The case surrounds the deaths of 59-year-old Sherry Cole and 7-year-old Jessie Allen. The DA’s office says the 16-year-old admitted that they started planning to kill the victim earlier in the day. A detention hearing is scheduled for the 16-year-old suspect on May 12. As yet, the teen suspect’s name has not been released.
