Tennessee Health Commissioner Leaving
Tennessee Health Commissioner Dr. Lisa Piercey is leaving state government next month. Governor Bill Lee will name a successor in the coming weeks. Piercey’s departure is effective May 31st. The 44 year old Piercey says among her reasons for leaving is to spend more time with family.

The Greene County District Attorney says he plans to seek to try a 16-year-old accused of murdering a 7-year-old and an older woman, as an adult.
