At Tuesday’s Greeneville City Council meeting, new council member Matt Hensley, re-elected councilman Tim Teague, and re-elected Mayor Cal Doty were sworn in. The council also appointed Dr. Mia Hyde to the Library Board and discussed filling a vacant seat on the Solid Waste Planning Board. City Manager Todd Smith presented Mayor Doty with his official gavel, and Teague was appointed to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The council deferred appointing a new Solid Waste Planning Board member for further review.
