A mobile home on Isley Lane was completely destroyed by fire Monday morning. The Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department responded to the blaze, which was reported by a neighbor around 11:40am on Monday. The residents were not home when the fire started. Preliminary reports suggest that a fan and heater left on in a bedroom may have sparked the fire. The home, valued at $20,000, along with its contents worth $5,000, were lost. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
