A Greeneville Water Commission employee fell into a well during a routine maintenance check on Wednesday. Scott Dunbar was rescued by colleagues who used a harness before being airlifted to Johnson City Medical Center with severe injuries, including a broken leg and pelvis. The incident is under investigation. We have learned so far, that safety measures were reportedly in place at the time.
