Longtime Greene County auctioneer Lowell Hadley Carter has passed away at the age of 87. With a career spanning 54 years, Carter began with Davis Realty and later co-founded Carter Brothers Real Estate and Auction Company in 1966. He continued in real estate and auctions with his nephew and sons until his retirement. Carter’s contributions to the community and real estate industry will be remembered fondly. Visitation will be held today from 2-4 PM and 5-7 PM at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 7 PM.
