The Rev. E.J. Swatsell has been appointed director of spiritual life and special projects at Tusculum University. He’ll lead the school’s new Christian Leadership Institute, coordinate chapel services, oversee ministry programs and help raise funds for faith-based initiatives. Swatsell previously served as a Greeneville pastor, fire department chaplain, and advisor in Tusculum’s talent search program. The university says his leadership will expand its church partnerships and enhance campus ministry programs.
