At last county, two flood-related fatalities have been confirmed in Cocke County while one person remains missing in Greene County. Boone McCrary and his girlfriend were in a boat on the Nolichucky River when it was swept into a bridge. McCrary’s girlfriend was rescued, but he and his dog were carried downstream. Meanwhile, a couple in Cocke County drowned when their vehicle was overtaken by floodwaters.
