Funeral services have been scheduled for Robert Bird, former Tusculum Mayor and Greene County Commissioner, who passed away at the age of 95 on December 12. Bird, a U.S. Army veteran and retired FBI agent, served in multiple roles including Commissioner of the Kentucky Police Training Academy. The funeral will take place this Thursday at Jeffers Funeral Chapel in Afton, with interment following at Herman Cemetery. Donations in his memory can be made to the Shiloh Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
