Tennessee residents and businesses affected by Tropical Storm Helene may be eligible for additional SBA disaster loan funds to improve their properties. Those approved for a disaster loan have two years to request a loan increase of up to 20% of their verified damages for mitigation measures. The improvements could include enhancing drainage, installing sump pumps, or weatherproofing homes.
