Greeneville Assistant police Chief Stephen Hixson was indicted yesterday, by a Greene County Grand Jury on a charge of domestic assault. Monday’s indictment is said to be in connection with an incident that took place back in December at a home in Greeneville, and it comes following an investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Hixson for now, is on sick leave from the police department.
