The Greeneville Municipal Airport Authority has filed a counterclaim against Skyknight, the company that sued it earlier this month. Skyknight disputes fuel fees and rent increases, saying the airport billed it inconsistently. The authority says Skyknight owes fuel fees dating back to April and additional rent tied to inflation, even though that rent was not invoiced. It asks the court to dismiss Skyknight’s claims. The dispute also involves allegations over threats to end Skyknight’s lease and comments made to the media.

He was one of just 12 broadcasters nationwide chosen to participate in discussions and provide input during the design and rollout of Google’s digital broadcast automation platform. Although the majority of Ed’s career—spanning roughly four decades—was rooted in music radio, he transitioned into news and information programming in 2012. He says the move into spoken-word broadcasting was a natural evolution after decades of experience in multiple areas of the industry.
