Here’s a heartwarming story that shows some Tennessee first responders have a lot of compassion. In Newport, a 6-year-old raised enough money to buy a bunk bed to share with his brother after running a lemonade stand on Monday. Community members flocked to it as a show of support. First responders also stopped by, and they helped the little boy raise around $500. Then, the money went to the boy’s savings account instead of paying for the bed… which was paid for by a donation.
