A jury in Greene County found 47 year old Scotty Lynn Ridley guilty on 18 charges, including two counts of attempted first degree murder and two counts of attempted second degree murder. The convictions stem from a 2023 chase where Ridley fired at deputies on I-81 and again outside his Mosheim home. He was also convicted on weapons, assault, and reckless endangerment charges. The jury imposed fines totaling $185,500. Sentencing is set for September 22. Ridley remains jailed.
