Greene County Prepares To Move Offices Into Former Hospital Building

Greene County is preparing to relocate several government offices into the former Takoma Hospital building. County leaders say the County Clerk’s office will likely be the first to move later this month, with other departments—including Building and Zoning, Trustee, Property Assessor and Register of Deeds—following this summer. The new space, now called the Greene County Administration Center, offers more room for staff and the public. Upper floors will open in the future for the Sheriff’s Department, school offices and other agencies.
