The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Greene County from 1 p.m. today through 7 p.m. Wednesday. Temperatures near 94 and heat indexes as high as 107 are expected. Everyone is being urged to limit outdoor activities, stay hydrated, wear light clothing, and check on vulnerable people during the extreme heat.
