The Tennessee Valley Authority is urging customers to conserve power as extreme cold drives up demand. TVA is asking residents to especially reduce electricity use between 6 AM and 10 AM today. Tips include lowering thermostats, avoiding heavy appliance use, and turning off non-essential lights to help ease the load.
