A motorcycle crash on Gap Creek Road Friday evening left a man dead. 43-year-old Christopher Sible was traveling south when his bike crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a minivan. The accident occurred just after 6:30 PM, about two miles from the Rogersville Road intersection. The driver of the van, Rita Spears, was not injured. Emergency responders, including the Tennessee Highway Patrol and local fire and rescue teams, were called in for what marked the 22nd traffic fatality in Greene County this year.
