Chuckey Utility is making progress in restoring water service to over 14,000 customers affected by the recent loss of the Kinser Bridge. A temporary 12-inch water line has been installed across the Nolichuckey River. The line will help serve areas including Horse Creek and Middle Creek, which lost access due to the bridge collapse. Customers who have water restored will be under a boil advisory until further notice. A second permanent line is also being developed at Earnest Bridge.
