ETSU Tuition Hike

Starting from the fall semester of 2024, East Tennessee State University will implement a 5.25 percent tuition and fees increase. The additional revenue will fund a $6.68 million salary pool to address compensation rates below market standards, ensuring the retention of exceptional staff. This change will translate to an approximate $261 rise per semester for in-state undergraduate students. Over the past five years, tuition and fees have seen an average annual increase of around 2 percent.
