Tennessee Jobless Numbers Tick Up

Tennessee’s unemployment rate edged up slightly in October, reaching 3.3%, up from 3.4% in September. Despite this small increase, the state remains below the national rate of 4.1%. Earlier this year, the state recorded its lowest-ever unemployment rate of 3.0%. County-level unemployment data will be available next week.
