Schools Re-Opening On Tuesday

Greene County and Greeneville City Schools will reopen Tuesday after being closed due to Hurricane Helene. While the boil water advisory is still in effect, both districts will provide bottled water to students. School cafeterias will operate. Today will remain an administrative day for staff.

Tax Notices Going In The Mail

Greene County residents will soon receive their 2024 property tax notices in the mail. The Trustee’s Office is now accepting payments, including partial payments for both current and delinquent taxes. Payments can be made online, by phone, or in person at the office on North Cutler Street.
