September 11 Exhibit Opens at Tusculum University
A new exhibit examining the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks is open through Sept. 18 at Tusculum University’s Clem Allison Gallery. Developed by the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the exhibit features 14 posters detailing the attacks, recovery efforts and personal stories from witnesses and survivors.

Construction is underway on more than $1 million in grant-funded improvements at Kinser Park. The project includes a new playground, adult fitness stations, ADA-accessible walkways and a 36-hole disc golf course. Construction is expected to take about eight weeks, with playground equipment scheduled to arrive in October.

In a separate crash, Mary Whaley suffered minor injuries when her SUV struck a tree. Police also arrested Katherine Kay Davis on a Sullivan County probation violation warrant.
