Five Tennessee School Districts Plan Ten Commandments Displays
School boards in Blount, Rutherford, Washington, White and Wilson counties have approved displaying the Ten Commandments in public schools under a new state law. Civil liberties groups are seeking district records and argue the displays violate religious freedom. Supporters say the commandments have historical significance and the law is constitutional.
