Greene Schools Defend Staff Cuts
Greene County school leaders say planned teacher layoffs are tied to declining enrollment and are not considered abnormal. Director of Schools Chris Malone says several positions were already being vacated through retirements, and no schools are being closed.

Marshals Search For Greeneville Robbery Suspect
U.S. Marshals are searching for 20 year old Ja’coby Johnson of Greeneville, wanted on two aggravated robbery charges. Investigators say Johnson was last seen May tenth at Greeneville Terrace and is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is urged to call 1-877-WANTED2.
