Greeneville Energy Authority’s broadband director says he’s hopeful GEA will secure part of $11 million in federal grants to expand countywide service. Phil Bradley told board members he expects BEAD grant decisions in about two weeks, with final approval in early September.

Greene County School Board Calls Meeting To Tweak Cell Phone Policy

The Greene County Board of Education will hold a called meeting Tuesday to revise its student cell phone policy in response to new state legislation.
