The Greene County Commission has voted 18 to 3 to add parts of Old Erwin Highway and Richland Road to the county road list. The move however, goes against recommendations from the county attorney, road superintendent, and several commissioners. Supporters said the roads met standards. Critics warned the decision could set a precedent for future road approvals without full compliance.
