Greene County officials are seeking state approval for an additional judge to help with a growing court docket and jail population. Judge Ken Bailey proposed expanding the current magistrate position to a full-time role. The new judge would also oversee daily arraignments and a planned Safe Baby Court. The committee has moved forward with a request to the state legislature.
