Quick action by volunteer firemen prevented a fire from spreading to gas pumps at the Blue Springs Market in Mosheim on Sunday. A pickup truck caught fire between the fuel pumps, but two nearby Midway volunteer firefighters used a fire extinguisher to contain the flames until Town of Mosheim trucks arrived. Firefighters also ensured a nearby propane tank was protected. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
