An Extreme Cold Weather Warning is in effect until 2pm today for Southeast Greene County’s mountainous areas, with wind chills as low as 20 below zero. A Cold Weather Advisory is also in place for Northeast Greene County, including Greeneville. Daytime highs will remain below freezing through Wednesday, with overnight lows dipping into the single digits.
