A Greeneville rental company is reporting the theft of nearly $56,000 worth of equipment. On December 9, Grand Rental of Greeneville says a man rented several pieces of heavy construction gear but failed to return them the following day as promised. The stolen items include a large black trailer, a Mudd Buggy, and other equipment. At least one item was equipped with a tracker. Police are now investigating the theft after attempts to contact the renter were unsuccessful.
