Bill Hickerson, former president and CEO of Andrew Johnson Bank, passed away at the age of 79 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia. Hickerson, who joined City and County Bank in 1979, led its transformation into Andrew Johnson Bank in 1980. Under his leadership, the bank expanded from one office with $10 million in deposits to $350 million in assets across multiple locations. He retired in 2018. Funeral arrangements are pending.
