Tennessee Unemployment Rate Hits Two-Year Low
Tennessee’s unemployment rate fell to three-point-four percent in July, its lowest level in two years. The rate was three-point-five percent in June and remains below the national rate of four-point-one percent. County unemployment figures will be released next week.

47 year old Robert Keith Jenkins of Chuckey is facing several charges after Washington County deputies say they found him with a stolen truck and 17 grams of methamphetamine. Deputies say Jenkins was also accused of shoplifting from a Highway 11-E business. He was jailed on 22 thousand dollars bond.
