A person who barricaded themselves in home in Greeneville, caused a road closure and some detours for drivers on Saturday. Greeneville Police say they were called out Saturday morning around 9:30 to a home on Carson Street where a person was reportedly experiencing a mental health crisis. Carson street then had to be closed from West Main Street to Myrtle Street for approximately six hours before the situation was able to be peacefully resolved without any injuries and the person was taken to a local hospital.
