The Greeneville-Green County Humane Society is opening a new location next Tuesday, which will offer the staff and the animals with more space and storage. The 8000 square foot facility will have 16 play yards for the dogs and cat patio’s for the cats, along with a dog walking area, and a pavilion where people can meet and greet and socialize with the dogs. It’s seen as a big improvement over the old facility, which was only 4,000 square feet… about 1/2 the total space. The new facility will officially open to the public on Tuesday from noon to 4.
