Police in Johnson City arrested a man who they say attacked an employee at the Hampton Inn. It happened Saturday. Police say Timothy Libbey of Athens, attacked the hotel employee, and then he attacked the responding officers. Libbey was taken to the Johnson City Medical Center for evaluation, and then he was taken to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held on a $101,000 bond. He faces charges including aggravated assault, aggravated assault against a first responder, three counts of simple assault against a first responder and resisting arrest.
